Windsor Christmas Lights Switch-on
Windsor’s Christmas Lights Switch-on is set to dazzle!
Join the Windsor community as the town comes together to celebrate the start of the festive
season at Windsor’s much-loved Christmas Lights Switch-on.
Set against the spectacular backdrop of Windsor Castle, this special event showcases
performances from local schools, choirs and community groups, bringing festive cheer to
the heart of the town. Families can enjoy children’s rides, seasonal food and drink and a
variety of Christmas market stalls from local traders and makers throughout the town centre.
The evening will culminate in a magical countdown led by the cast of Theatre Royal
Windsor’s pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, as they switch on the Christmas lights and
illuminate Windsor’s largest Christmas tree.

Get ready to light up your holiday season with a full day of festive fun in Maidenhead Town Centre!
From 11am, the town comes alive with:
• A cosy Christmas market packed with unique stalls, delicious street food and a festive bar
• Children’s funfair rides by Traylen’s Funfair
• A cracking lineup of live music and entertainment, in collaboration with Maidenhead Festival!
Plus, don’t miss our 2026 Battle of the Bands winners taking to the stage – live and loud!
Countdown to Christmas starts just before 6pm, followed by a spectacular 昀椀reworks display (weather permitting).
Fun for all ages – free to attend – festive fun guaranteed!
