Eton Christmas Lights Switch-on
This November 13th, start the Christmas season with a night of music,
glamour and of course Father Christmas, as the Eton town lights are
switched on, in dazzling style. Book a seat at Eton College’s Carol Concert
then follow Father Christmas and his reindeer down historic Eton High
Street to Jubilee Square, where he will join panto star, Kevin Cruise, for the
Light Switch-on. As the countdown begins and Christmas music 昀椀lls the air,
wait for the cheer as Eton suddenly 昀椀lls with Christmas light.
Afterwards, enjoy the hospitality that Eton brings, through street stalls,
local shops and hospitality at Eton’s pubs and restaurants. Try a Christmas
mulled wine or beer from local Windsor & Eton Brewery or perhaps some
roasted chestnuts. For the children there are fun rides, and of course, a
chance to tell Santa whether they have been good this year, and to give him
their Christmas present wish list.
Don’t miss this wonderful evening, where tradition meets enchantment
in historic Eton. Tickets to the Carol Concert are available from the Eton
Information Centre.

Windsor Christmas Lights Switch-on
Windsor’s Christmas Light Switch-on is set to dazzle! The event features a
stage outside the stunning Windsor Castle, o昀昀ering festive performances
by community groups. Families can enjoy children’s rides, hot food stands,
and Christmas market stalls throughout the town centre. The celebration will
culminate with the cast of Theatre Royal’s Panto Cinderella switching on the
lights, illuminating Windsor’s largest Christmas tree, generously donated by
His Majesty King Charles III.
